[Pro] How do I convert the bottom of these pages into a box model?

have a look at: http://www.heatherbankprint.co.uk/services/digital-print-short-run-leaflets-personalised-price-lists-point-of-sale-newsletters-book-printing-certificates.html

This site was created as a fixed size containing html elements. I’ve now started using the box model a lot more and want to slightly overhaul this site so that the site expands along with the text at the bottom.

Click on any of the tabs along the top and you’ll notice a paragraph of text at the bottom of the page that currently scrolls when it does not fit the allocated area - this is the text I’m modifying the pages to allow for. Problem is the column of bullet points to the right. This is made up of individual html text boxes lined up with graphic items. How do I keep this group of items anchored to the bottom of the new box model html container (as it currently appears) if it increases in depth?

I don’t see the problem you’re describing, everything fits ok for me.

Obviously check out Dan Jasker’s tutorial and take a look through other threads. It took me a long time to understand how to use the box model.

My suggestion is to keep the top with the drop down menus separate from the rest. Also, draw out all of the boxes (especially the nested ones) you’ll need on a piece of paper first. It can be tough to add boxes later.

Good luck.

Thanks George

It depends on the browser and point size you’re using as to whether it looks okay or not. Try increasing your browser point size and you should see scroll bars appear on the bottom block of text - this is what I’m trying to get rid of.
