[Pro] How fixe rollover hyperlink buttons appearing in different locations depending on browser

Hi

I’ve created a rollover button hyperlink within a table and the button looks fine in Firefox but in both Safari and Explorer the button has shifted upwards.

Is there a way I can ensure the button remains consistent on the browsers, (my preferred option) or am I better off ditching the button and putting a text link, either in the same place or by creating an extra column in the table?

Hope someone can help, thanks in advance if you can.

Here’s the website page so you can see the problem:

I’ve created a rollover button hyperlink within a table

The problem is that the button is not actually within the table cell.

Select all the button - might be easiest doing it in the page/site inspector - and cut it from the page.

Click inside the cell you want to place it until the cursor is flashing and paste.

Done

Hi - thanks, now found a moment to sort this out. Had to split the table row first, then cut and paste the rollover into the cell as you suggested via the page bit. Interestingly the graphic reset itself to a .gif file so then had to make it a .png again. But very happy with the result. Ta very much!

Good

Sometimes it is not easy to see when items are children of other items that is why switching the site pane to page view allows you to select items on your page and see if they are indented from the item above or not which signifies whether they are a child or a stand alone item.
