[Pro] How to add new pages...?

I did that yesterday, made it the ”homepage”. But I do not know how to make it visible when I preview it…

Are you trying to view it within FW or trying to see it on a certain browser?

Many thanks f you reply! It seems like my trouble hav ”grown” into something more… when previewing in Safari, NOTHING works any more… No repsons from the links at all…

When i look at the Links map, everything looks normal to me…, but since I am a newbie in FW Pro 6.0 and no manual (since I dld a trial version fr Softpress, I am out in the blue here…

The link map shows the most recent added page as ”Home” to the left, and thereat of the pages to the right; just as it should be…, I hope.

Do you haver any suggestions?

Cheers Arne

Have you tried looking in the Help menu? Choose Help > Using Freeway to
open a 110-page PDF-format guide to Freeway.

Unfortunately, I can’t quite visualise the problem you’re having. You
say you added a new page and called it “homepage”, and the current
problem is that none of the links work any more?

The Link Map view can be useful, but all it tells you at this stage is
that you do have links that go from one page to another. Maybe the best
thing at this point would be to save this Freeway document and make
another just for some practise and testing…

  1. Choose File > New, and choose “Blank Website” from the Templates
    section of this window.

  2. With the new document, put a graphic box on the single page that you
have and give it a colour fill.

  3. Now go to the Page menu and choose New Pages. Name this “Page 2” and
    click OK.

  4. Put a graphic box on this new page and give it a different colour
    fill.

  5. Now – with the graphic box selected – go to the popup menu at the
bottom of the document window. It will currently be called “No Link”.

  6. In this menu you should see an item called “Untitled” (the page that
was there at the beginning) and “Page 2” (the page you added). Choose
“Untitled” to make this box on page 2 link to the first one.

  7. Use the Site panel on the left to step over to the “Untitled” page,
then select the graphic box and make that a link to “page 2”.

  8. Preview in Safari. Your links should work fine, letting you step from
one page to the other and back again.
