I have this blurb with photos that I want to have open like a web page in e-mail. Okay, I found the folder with the html (please be patient with me!), now what do I do with it to have it show up intact when an e-mail is opened–NOT like an attachment? Thanks.
Caleb:
I have v5.4 so it doesn’t have the “File>Mail Contents of This Page”
ability. I have made the page, uploaded it, having applied the Remote
Resources action…now what? Sorry I’m asking to be lead by the hand.
Thanks,
C.

And that is why I made the custom FreewaySearch. It is also how I found
that link.
I’ve never done an email through Freeway, but that same article by Softpress says, in regard to creating an email in Freeway 5:
Once the upload is complete, open Safari and navigate to the page you just uploaded. This will be something like http://www.yourdomain.com/email.html, replacing “yourdomain” with your domain name and “email.html” with the filename of the page you just created. After the page has finished loading press Command-i, or go to File>Mail Contents of This Page.
The page will then be opened in a new message window. Enter the address you want to send the email to and, when ready, click “Send”. Links to other pages will work but instead of opening in the email window they will open in a new browser window.
I finally got it to work–sort of–got it so that what I created comes up
in Safari and I e-mail it from there. I’m no HTML whiz, but I got it…all
except for the graphic. It doesn’t load on the e-mail. I followed the
instructions to create the “absolute” path to my site folder, but it still
just comes up with just the name of the file and the ubiquitous question
mark in the middle of the graphic box. I even tried the “Graphic Link to
File” action. ALso, in the Softpress instructions it said to choose HTML
3.2. Where do I find the choice to do so?
Thanks,
Carol

To change the HTML to 3.2, open the inspector then click on the page title in the left sidebar that you need to change. Click on the third-from-the-left tab at the top of the inspector. Then, simply, change the output HTML to 3.2
Can anyone diagnose why the image I have in the upper right won’t load? I
tried “Graphic Link to File” action, but still nothing. The graphic file is
in my uploaded file on my site. What gives!?
Thanks,
Carol

Sorry I forgot that this is set in the RR action itself
I got it! In the Remote Resources page action box I took away everything
after the “.com” and the picture shows up.
Thanks for everyone’s input on this. Learning curves can exhausting!
