I just updated to the laters version, when I open e.g. my index page, do some changes, and again do some changes in my news page… the page is still “index” it does not change to the news page… So when saving this it all being saved as the one I opened. What is happening, what do I do wrong ?
Have jumped to different pages, the same thing happens, it seems to be stuck with the one I opened, when I opened the program.
Hi Marit, sorry, I’m no expert in Freeway, but I see nobody else has answered. Can you explain a bit further your dilemma, I’m not quite following what is happening. Is your ‘index’ page and ‘news page’ two separate pages? Are you saying the changes are not effected when you view them on the browser or are you saying that Freeway is stuck on the index page?
Thanks for replying, don’t really know to explain it properly. But, the page I do open (does not matter which one) does not change, when opening another page (on top in freeway), and saves it as the first opened in the program.
So jumping from page, to another - do some change, its save it as the first page I did open…
Hi Marit, forgive me if I’ve got this wrong, but it sounds to me like you are opening a new document, as opposed to another ‘page’. I’ve probably misunderstood you but could you explain to me, do you find the page called ‘news page’ in the list on the left hand side of your screen, or do you go to the file menu and select ‘open’ or ‘recent documents’?
Again, forgive me if I’m being simplistic, I’m just trying to get a better picture of what it is you are doing.
the “News 2013” is just the name of your project (such as my-letter.doc (Word) or my-folder.indd) and is just an internal representative.
To change this you’d change the name of your freeway-doc file (in the finder or wherever the file is stored). I’d recommend to name this something like:
borzoi-webproject.freeway
to make it more “global” but doesn’t matter as long as you find this file on your computer.
Le Spinx Borzoi will be the title later in a browser-window and is fine - don’t touch.
