[Pro] Images getting clipped

On this page, and this page only, images are getting clipped and distorted:

Can’t figure it out.

Some of the same images are on other pages such as this, and look fine:

Weird. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Have a look at http://www.deltadesign.co/FW6Test/image-test.html

These are the 2 images from your site (using the actual URL of the files so if you alter them this page will change to reflect that)

You can see that the right hand image has a white section at the bottom. This tells me that something has shifted in your layout to create this - maybe moving the overlaying text or something has done it.

I think that you just have to be careful about positioning your images in the containers as FW will make a composite of the text and picture layers.

Thanks for the reply DeltaDave. I’m a relative Freeway newbie, and not totally sure how to navigate the program. Not sure how to determine what may have shifted or how to correct it. I did try deleting the Twitter, FB, and other distorted icons on the upper right of the page and replacing them with copied images from other pages, but I kept getting the same result. I also tried bringing those elements to the front, all to no avail.

I suspect that you would have better success if you used FW with the CSS Button on (so that it reads CSS Layout under it).

Doing that will ensure that each item is a layer and there is less chance of items affecting adjacent items.

You can select each image and change its state in the Inspector so that the Layer checkbox is ticked and that will have the same effect.

Note that once the Button is turned on only items created after that point will be a layer - it doesn’t affect items already created.
