[Pro] Import images from existing website...

Hello,
I’m a bit new to the process of building a website, and was hoping to import a few of the images on our current website to the new website I’m planning to build with Freeway 5 Pro.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on this process.

Thank you.

Is the current site one you created - if so then you should have all the original files.

If not then you will need to download them from the server - best to put them in the FW created Media folder.

If you cannot directly download them then you would be as well to Right Click the image (in your Browser) Save Image As (give it a meaningful name if it doesn’t have one already) and save them into the Media folder.

Once you have all the images you want in the Media folder then you can import them into FW by creating a graphic box and Cmd E (File>Import) - you can drag and drop from the finder as well.

Dear David,

Thanks very much for taking the time to help me out.

Your solution worked perfectly, and I now have all of the images copied from our original site and in position on the new site that I’m working on.

Thanks again for your help, David, and have a great day!
