I think I did something real stupid. I deleted my index page within Freeway. How do i get one back. I have a duplicate of the page in freeway but when I publish I assigns the name and does not title it as the index page. Can I go in and manually rename the html file to index?

In Freeway, look in the Page Inspector while the new “index” page is selected in the left list. Look in the File field – that will tell you the actual filename of that page. Change it to index.html there, in the Inspector. That way all links to that page will be automatically rewritten on every other page. Then upload to your server from within Freeway, and all will be well.
It’s a good idea to go through your page filenames, and try to neaten them up before you publish your site. Freeway takes all the spaces and some punctuation out of whatever you put in the page Title, and turns that into the filename. The results are often less than professional-looking – some mashed-together words that run out of letters after some limit and get .html tacked on the end. URLs are very important in search engine optimization, and in human-factors thinking, too. If you think about it, the URL is the original user interface to your site.
