Hi,
what is the best way to have text over (on top) of a slideshow (Exhibeo) with an inline construction?
Thanks, Lode

Exhibeo’s Slideshow currently lets you add text to each “slide” which
appears over it as a caption. In Exhibeo, it’s a Caption which consists of
Title and Description, but outputs as an h1 heading and a p paragraph tag
in a figcaption element.
Exhibeo gives you some control over size, color, font and position of this
text. You can’t add markup or extend the styling in Exhibeo (which I think
is more important feature request than all the photo gizmo stuff others are
requesting). You can edit the stylesheet Exhibeo makes to customize a
little beyond what the app already offers - as I did here
But in short, if you want very specific stuff beyond what I’ve described
over an Exhibeo Slideshow, you will have to make a nasty Frankenstein’s
monster of a construction… which will rise up in the night and murder you.
Just sayin’.

Hi,
I agree with you that more possibilities with text/caption would be welcome, especially for a “non-coder” like me. The design-power of a font is often forgotten. Anyway I let you know how my Frankenstein, or rather a Orc, looks like. If I’m still alive :-)), that is.
