Ever since I “upgraded” from Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion 10.8.5. I have the following bugs in Intaglio:
• Every time I use the Copy command, Intaglio displays a screen prompt that says “Can’t complete this command. Incorrect value.” It does perform the copy, but not until I click the “Cancel” button. It’s a nuisance.
• Intaglio no longer allows direct numerical entry of the font size in the Fonts window. Mercifully, the font size slider still works, but it’s slower and more cumbersome.
• If I do not save a drawing before I close it, Intaglio displays a drop-down prompt with “Don’t Save”, “Cancel”, and “Save” options…at which point Intaglio no longer accepts keyboard or mouse click actions…well, except “Enter”, “Escape”, and “Command-.” (cancel}—when then result in the “Can’t complete this comment. Incorrect value.” prompt. The only option at that point is to force quit the app.
Is anyone else experiencing these bugs in Intaglio running in Mountain Lion 10.8.5?
I depend on Intaglio as part of my normal workflow. I have a long wish-list of feature additions or improvements that I won’t include here. I’m sorry to say that I’ve stopped recommending Intaglio to others because of my uncertainty about the future of the app.
Nick: If you’re reading this post, please do not discount or ignore the value of being more communicative with Intaglio’s most devoted users (I’m one of them), who would love to evangelize for Intaglio. But we need some kind of assurance that we’re recommending an app that has a future.
