I am clueless why one of these pages renders as expected on iPhone/iPod and the other does not.

Only difference I see is the graphic at the bottom of the top example is pushed down by the form element in the bottom example.

I am not seeing the difference you are on either my iPhone iOS 4 or iPad iOS3.2

I never read the blurb! If you had said that in your post I wouldn’t have bothered looking as I dont have have an iPhone running V3 anymore.

But I would have thought the iPad would render the same.
