I have a couple of projects that I do regularly each month with carousel action.
I updated to newest Freeway version, now the carousel action is not working. It is the same on two sites that I maintain.
The only difference between last month and this month is the updated Freeway Version.
Did you update Protaculous.fwactionb to the latest version? Check on ActionsForge – the Freeway and this Action have to be updated in lock-step.

Sorry for the jargon. What I meant was if you update Freeway Pro to 5.6.2 or higher, you have to also update Protaculous (at the same time, like parade marchers, which is where the expression lock-step comes from) to the latest version.

I’m experiencing the same problem, could you please tell me how to update in “lock-step”?, what is a “lock-step”?
Thank you

No, I have not done that. I was not aware that I had to do this.
I will be back at computer later this evening and will update this file.
OK, I have 5.6.5 Freeway Pro and the Protaculous/Carousel [1.3.6]: release date 24 Aug, 2012. Before the update, Carousel was working fine, after update, Carousel not working.
Any suggestions ?
If you publish a link to the page, we may be able to get you going again.

It looks as though you have more than one instance of Carousel within one effect area. I’m not sure how that’s possible, but the way that the code is getting rendered, it looks like there might be an attempt to place one carousel inside another. That’s definitely not supported.
Make sure that each pane of your carousel (besides the initial carousel item placed where you want the effect to appear) has the Carousel Pane Action applied to it, not the Carousel Action.
Now your carousel only has one pane. Check to make sure that each additional pane you expect to be in the effect has Carousel Pane applied to it, and that these panes have the parent carousel chosen in their Target picker. If you did already have them in place, you may need to go through each one, click the Target picker to ensure that the Action realizes that you meant to choose something, and then publish again.
