I second Mike’s reference to the manual. I’ve done some sites using DW and straight html. I’ve never done anything with CSS and am a relative novice with FW. I find the manual to be a great resource for the underlying concepts I’m having to deal with, as well as on how to use FW itself.
Having said that, I have one major gripe about the manual. The publisher clearly didn’t intend it to be published in dead tree form. It is the first reference manual or technical manual I’ve ever read without an index. Call me old school, but I find a dead tree version of a manual to be a valuable resource open on the desk next to me. Unfortunately, without an index, their manual requires the PDF to be open to search. Come on guys!!!
I suggest looking at the manual first and then asking questions on the forum. Eventually you’ll find everything you need. Of course it helps to try, try, and try again in FW. In no time you’ll start feeling comfortable.
