[Pro] Item stuck to side of screen

Hi,

I’m trying to get an small panel ‘stuck’ to the side of the screen, as shown here:

http://certifiedknowledge.org/blog/google-adds-maps-to-main-search-results/

It’s the ‘Follow’ panel that I’m trying to recreate. I’ve done a few searches on here but failed to find an explanation. If anyone can shed some light on it I’d appreciate it!

Thanks.

Neil.

this should be fairly simple to achieve:

Draw an item to the very right of your page. The item still selected, click the “left position icon” in inspectors first pane and set it to “fixed in window”.

Remember, that all content needs to be part of this item. So probably build the design first, select all, group this and set this group to “fixed in window”.

Few infos to fixed items (and inflow content):

ohh yes. A tricky nice alternative to keep content in user’s eye could be Walter’s Sticker Action:

I set it on:

Just as and add. Don’t forget to have a look on ActionsForge Next.

EXCELLENT! Many thanks Thomas, just what I was looking for.

The silly thing is I’ve managed (from what I’ve read on here) to make a nice inline header and menu that stays at the top and has content scroll under it, yet I couldn’t work this tiny side bar out!

Thanks for your help. I’ll pop over to ActionsForge Next too.

Cheers.

Neil.
