[Pro] items overlap when resizing browser window

Hi, a novice question:

I have a page with items sorted in 3 coloums, with text items in the middle, menus to the left and pictures to the right. The page align is set to none.

I have grouped the text item (in the middle)and the picture items to the right. The right items are places by layer(absolute) to the right side of the page, with a fixed width, and the middle text item is set by layer (absolute) to a fixed rigt and left position. The group that contain them both is set to align to a fixed left position.

When I resize my page in safari the right item will shrink the text coloum in the middle, and that is what I want, but if I make the page even smaller the right item will overlap my menu items to the left. Is there a way to stop this? Essentially I have two items that are alignes to either side and they will of course come closer to each other as i shrink the browser window., But how can i stop the right item from mowing before it overlaps the left one?

hi, let me rephrase:

I start with an empty page and have the ccs layout turned on. I place an HTML item by the left side of the page set to align to the left side, and an item along the right side set to align to the right side. The master is set to align to none.

In the browser the two will of course come closer to each other as I shrink the browser window. But how can i stop the right item from moving before it overlaps the left one?

help me please…

Thanks.

it seems this is quite an active forum, without any patience for newcomers thou.

Seldom have I seen this level of ignorance and arrogance in a software forum.

I bet the freeway team really finds it worthwhile to host this place.
