[Pro] It's been said there's no such thing as a stupid question but. . .

I can’t figure out how to change the background colour. Seems I can change the page background colour, but I want to change to outer background area colour. Thanks in advance for helping.

I think the “outer” background color IS your background color. When you preview in browser with a background color your entire browser window should be that color.

Is that what you mean?

You’ll need to place some content on the page, ie a box of some sort into which or on top of which the text and graphics go. It’s this box that should be coloured the page colour.

It’s as if Freeway shows you where your page would be, but hasn’t put it there yet, so any background colour shows through. Place a white html box there for example, making it the same dimensions as the page, and this will cover the background.

Search ‘frame a page’ in this list – you’ll find a zillion answers to
this question.

Forgot to mention… asking questions is actually rather smart. Not only do you get to use your brain, in formulating the question, but you get the power of other peoples’ brains* as well, when they answer!

*And there are some impressive brains lurking around here.
