I bought Paul Dunnting’s Actions for Joomla because it looks to be a very fine Actions pack. In comparison with the other actions I found, they are able to edit the styles in the modules, wich, for me, not familiar with the css, is a great help.
I tried it, and of course, it works very fine… until I try to publish the site: it doesn’t works because of java scripts errors (-26114:379:2509)
A message says: “Action: Joomla Module. Tag has no properties”, and the publication of the site is aborted.
This happends as wel with the template furnished with the Actions pack then with a templated fully created with the action pack
The Action Window of the concerned bloc(s) proposes to clear the error, and after, the window appears to be normal, but each new attempt to publish the site results in a new javascript in another bloc, indefinitely.
Did somebody encountered this problem, and have an explanation?
Thanks a lot for your help.
P.S. My configuration:
Freeway Pro 5.4.2 (6287)
Mac OS X 10.6.3 (10D573) (French)
The mors surprising thing is that it happens whit the original template, but i tried with a new blank template, within I use only your actions.
I’m asking me if the problem wouldn’t come from another problem on my system: since the last uprgrade of Epson printers (doesn’t matter, i know ) and Java, the permissions have been affected.
I have known that before I encountered serious problems when trying to print.
The problem is that Disk Utlity faile the reparations of those permissions. For the printers, I deleted the pilots, and installed it once, wich resolved my problem. But for Java, I’m not sure what I can do, and so, I must wait to have e little more time to do that with enough care…
I’ll give you the results as soon as possible.
Do you think that a disfunction of Java could influe?
I seriously doubt that Java or its permissions would affect this at all. Java is not a component of Freeway or the Actions subsystem. JavaScript (unrelated, except by four letters) certainly is, but that’s not likely where this issue is coming from.
