[PRO] letter-space and Safari

Anyone notice that Safari 4.0.4 has problems with letter-spacing set at none round numbers?

For example if you set a 28px header letter-spacing in Freeway @ -7% it equals -1.96px in CSS sheet. Firefox renders this OK but Safari only renders whole numbers like -2px or -1px

Is this just my Safari with the issue? Seems odd that Webkit has not got this basic issue covered.

I’ve also noticed that WebKit does not appear to treat this correctly.
I’ve gotten much better results using em for letter-spacing. Your
mileage may vary.
