[Pro] Link link style

Can anyone tell why I cannot make “text link style” action work consistently? I finally realized you must spec every state to a color, “none” causes it default to some horrid purple and blue. But it just doesn’t seem to work all the time. I even went back to a place where it does work and copied it exactly but it just won’t work. What am I doing wrong, so frustrating.

Rather than use the action you can set the link styling in the inspector (with the Paintbrush Tab selected) when you select the HTML container you will see the Links section at the bottom of the inspector window.

Similarly you can do it with nothing selected on the page in the same place which will set your link style page-wide.

This method is best used when the link text does not already have a colour applied.

Thanks DeltaDave, I actually figured it out, I was just applying the text link style but I hadn’t gotten to actually assigning the link. When I did, it worked fine. I was expecting the states to be like regular rollovers which “behave” whether they are linked or not. I just wanted to see how it would look so I could tighten up my design. I hope this enlightenment helps some other poor designer workin’ at midnight, lol!

I’ll try out your paintbrush tab solution on a page, I haven’t come across the paintbrush tab yet, we have one in FW? I’ll go take a look. So many little facets to remember…
