[Pro] Manually activated slideshow

I want to build slideshows that are activated by clicking on the top image of a stack of images as opposed to being activated on page load. This is not an option with Showcase so I think I need to use Show/Hide Layer. No problem getting slideshows that start with page load. There is an option to load on click but I can’t figure out how to make it work.

And I should add I want this to run automatically on the activation click and stop when finished and reset back on the first image of the stack.

I have seen a post or two where someone says they did this using a rollover but I haven’t figured out how this would be done.

Any ideas?

This uses Target show/hide layer action, sequence timer action and Play/Pause sequence timer.

Thanks for the show example, David, but could you tell me how you triggered it? What is the Play/Pause timer doing?

I also note that it disappears when done rather than reset itself to the top of the stack awaiting the next activation.

I did say it was a quick example…

You could have it so that the first image is the trigger I am sure.

In my example ‘Click to Play’ has the Play/Pause action on it and Transition FX to fade it out.
