[Pro] Margin at the top of a site

Greetings.

Is there a way to have a site NOT be at the very top of the page? I have tried the padding and it appeared to do nothing.

Is this possible? I would like to have a page started a bit lower than the very top of the page.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Sam

Sam,

I just put an empty html box W: 100% (or the width of your page) and H: 10px at the top of the page.

Good luck, Vic

Depends on how you’re building it. If you’re just dragging and dropping items (absolute positioning) then just make sure your top most item is 10px from the top using the measurements in the Inspector .

If you’re doing an inline ‘box-model’ (relative positioning) then you could apply a margin, or padding, to your header (typically called a masthead) and enter in 10px for that.
