[Pro] Master Pages

I have built a master page with normal constant items. I have some custom content within those items across several different pages. I wish to change the background graphic in one of those items; but when I do, it reverts all pages exactly to that master and removes the custom content. I just want to change the background and keep my content in place. Tricks?

It sounds like you want to use more than 1 Master

Take the 1st Master and create a child page with the alterations you want then Page>Make Master to create a 2nd Master page.
