[Pro] Menu Styles

Hi all, I am new to this forum but have been using Freeway for years now. I am not a code person. I think thats what I love about Freeway—the ease of use. I am here today because I came across a website where the menus cascade down but not like most basic sites. I have no idea how they did this, but would love to learn how. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Here is the website. http://beautifulblooms.com/index_site.html

Click on the “GALLERY” menu and you will see what I am talking about. I would like to use this menu style on my website. Is there a way to do this in Freeway?

The entire page is Flash. I don’t have Flash installed so I can’t say
for certain, but most animation effects can be done with JavaScript
(check out the Transition FX Action built into Freeway for some lovely
examples). The benefit of doing this is that you don’t have to worry
about iPads or iPhones (or people who don’t like their browser to
crash, like me) seeing nothing except a blank white box where you site
should be.

Hi Lena - you would be best to take a look at this example from DeltaDave on another thread… He might be able to help.

Yes i was playing about with something similar - http://www.deltadesign.co/accmenu.html

The difference being that I used ScriptyAccordion which works happily with the Script/Protaculous based native FW actions because there can be conflicts between them and Moo.

And especially for navigation - which will appear on every page - they (Moo and Scriptaculous) shouldn’t be used on the same page.

Thanks guys. I will look into it for sure. Hopefully it is not too difficult for me to achieve.
