[Pro] Meta tag for google business mail

I am trying to set up a google business account with my current domain. The first thing goole asked me to do is to include a meta tag on my website index page. However, I tried many times and the result kept showing I paste the code wrongly. It should go in the section, before the first section.

In Freeway Pro Meta tag, I can only see Name and Value. And no matter I paste the code on Name or Value. Google kept saying the format is pasted wrongly. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Very easy, Catherine.

Select menu Page > Meta Tags…
At the top of the resulting window, make sure User is selected…
Click New… to make a new meta tag…
In the *Name field *enter/paste google-site-verification
In the Value field enter/paste 5sTxcDW3UG92pX2-rIDAG3icBDoHaoanAPu2DLBhsWA

That should do it!

Btw, Softpress should change the names of things in their “Pro” software to
better match the actual world of website design instead of stubbornly
insisting on this outdated dtp model. I was right in this opinion years
ago, and I am still right today. Freeway Pro needs to allow it’s users to
grow.

Alternatively you could go to Page>HTML Markup and paste the whole section into the Before End Head section
