[Pro] Missing Links??

Big Problem Help!

I’ve just finished doing my own website. I have everything stored in 1 folder on my desktop. I have just tried to open freeway to change something on the site and all I get is a blank page? All the files seem to be in the folder but I have nothing when I open up the project? any ideas what could have happened to my links?

Are you trying to open the yoursite.freeway document or something else?

You may be trying to open a file from within your site folder which only contains the FW generated HTML and Image files.

Having had a quick look at your site www.c-t-m.co.uk you dont have an index page - you do have one called home.html

Change the File name in the page inspector to index.html and put something meaningful in the Title box above like ‘Welcome to CTM The Studio’

The ‘Back To Main Website’ link on your gallery pages is pointing at home.html which doesn’t exist. Change it to direct to your index.html page.

Hi David,
Thank you for a quick reply.
I noticed the problem with the Home page and the lack of the index file today, that’s why I tried to make the changes? but if I open the freeway programe and go (file, open recent) and point it to my website, the programe only opens a blank page?
so I can’t make any changes?
Its as though the link between the programe and the files has been brooken?
I’m baffled?

Look on your hard drive for the .freeway file and double click it to open in FW.

Just to clarify if you open a new finder window and type .freeway in the search window top right and then make sure you select File Name from the options along the top - you will get a list of all the FW files available.

Hi David,
Yes I can find the freeway file no problem. the ctm_site.fwbackup file with the (f) logo but when I open this it opens the freeway programe but only reveals a blank page?

It looks like the .fwbackup file has lost all contact with the website/resources files. Im thinking this is going to be a full re-build ;-(

But there should be a ctm_site.freeway file (the original) as well as the backup.

it opens the freeway programe but only reveals a blank page?

Is there only 1 page in it?
