Just finished redesigning my own website in Freeway 7 to get a good handle on all the responsive features before i offer them to clients.
Problem is the mobile friendly menu does’t seem to work and I can’t figure why…
Any thoughts?

Can’t say for sure - just a tipp in general:
If you use stuff based on jQuery such as WOW, I highly recommend “Hands off” any kind of actions which starts with Scripty… and as well actions like Target blah and other “dynamic unbuilds”
This is just because they’re based on different libraries which can (in worst case) conflict.
It is a fundamental decision IMO to go off-road, but I decided to go jQuery - this is Off-road - with all the downsides and consequences. I never regret this step - but required a learning curve.
So in your case:
Remove this NewsCycle and see if it works. Seek for a jQuery based solution or skip WOW.
Another tipp:
Start with nothing than the menu - and see if it works. Add stuff step by step. If things break, you are quicker on troubleshooting.
