Using the Moo Accordion for collapsable and expandable content.
How can I get the mouse to change to a hand-pointer or an arrow when scrolling over the trigger words? Right now it is the i-beam, just like all the other text.
I have used Moo accordion on a few of the pages here. This link is to the Corporate page. When I click on the headings, I would like for the mouse pointer to change to the “FINGER” tool or the pointer, not just remain the i-beam text cursor.
I’ve just noticed your site accordion does not display correctly on Windows in IE9 - I’ve only noticed since I had exactly the same problem with my accordion when testing it. I originally used the moo accodion as well from http://www.coastalrugs.com/Actions/mootoolssuite.html but found it clashed with Freeway actions and did not display correctly in IE9 unless compatibility was turned on. A bit of searching later I came across these ActionsForge - The Complete Repository of Freeway Actions which seems to be an updated version. I’ve tried it and seems to be compatible with Freeway (carousel) action, and works in EI9 now. I have to admit to being a Freeway novice and not entirely sure what I did but it seems to be working for now anyway!
If you do install the newer version, read the manual first as it’s not a straight forward action install. Let me know if you need some help.
Okay, try this: set your Tag field to .mooFaqOnclick (with the leading dot), your Name to nothing, and your Extended to:
Name: cursor
Value: pointer
That should get you the effect you’re after.

No, as this is a tag-only style, you don’t apply it to anything (in fact, you should avoid doing this, because it can expose a bug in certain versions of Freeway – wrapping your styled text in a nonsense tag).
As long as you are careful to remove the auto-entered Name value, then tab out of that field before saving the style to really remind Freeway that this is what you meant, you should see the effect without any further interruption of your design. Understand that you will have to preview this or preview in a browser to see the effect – cursor changes don’t happen in the design view.
