[Pro] Moo:Slimbox

Hi All

I’ve got a problem. I have made a page with some images on, using Moo:Slimbox action. When I review it on my iMac either with Safari, Google Chrome oe FF it works as it should do.

When viewed on line: not a thing. does not work. Have republished everything but it still does not work.

The page is: Loading...

Any ideas.

Thanks for your help

Regards

Lee

Hi Lee,
I can see of your images here;

and the references to the same images in the page source code;

<a rel="lightbox[Stringer]" id="LB_74_35" href="Resources/Bruton_Town_%25282_1%2529_moo-sb_BrutonTown2143_97_moo1-1p3_.jpg" title="Bruton High Street"></a>
<a rel="lightbox[Stringer]" href="Resources/Bruton_Town_%25281_1%2529_moo-sb_BrutonTown2131_72_moo1-1p3_.jpg" title="Bruton High Street"></a>
<a rel="lightbox[Stringer]" href="Resources/Bruton_Town_%25283_1%2529_moo-sb_BrutonTown2144_9_moo1-1p3_.jpg" title="Chapel Barton"></a>
<a rel="lightbox[Stringer]" href="Resources/Bruton_Town_%25284_1%2529_moo-sb_BrutonTown2149_60_moo1-1p3_.jpg" title="Chapel Barton"></a>

I suspect the issue is that the references in the source code are encoded. Try simplifying the image names (remove the spaces and brackets etc) and load them back into the action and see if that helps.
Regards,
Tim.

Hi,

I hope you don’t mind me jumping into this thread, as my query is Moo:Slimbox related.

This is my first attempt at using the action.
I have a page with approximately 20 images split into 4 categories on screen.
I would like to allow the user to click any of the thumbnails in any category and have it enlarge, then have the option to click next or previous to scroll through the related images for that category. Is this workable using this action?

Thanks,

Neil

Hi Tim

I have renamed all the images, eg Bruton Town 1 up to number 25. Have reapplied the action but it still does not work on line. OK on my mac.

I’ll have another look at the problem, it’s Saturday - shopping day - later on today.

Still getting:

Bruton_Town_%25282_1%2529_moo-sb_BrutonTown2143_97_moo1-1p3_.jpg

Bruton Town 1

I presume you mean BrutonTown1 - no spaces or other characters like ( , )

Was it on the page that you renamed them or the original files - should be the originals.

Try removing the action, publish the page, change the image names, reapply the action and publish again.

Hi All

Removed action, renamed original images, published page, re-inserted images and action and then published page again and it works.

Thank you David and Tim for your help.

Lee

P.S. Neil - Have a look at http://brutontown.co.uk/history/postcards.html - is that what your after. If so, yes you can.
