[Pro] Move Pages to New Folder

Is there a way to move pages to a newly created folder? I am tryig to organize things a bit and want to create folders to move pages into. Is this possible?

Certainly.

At the bottom-left of the Freeway window, you will see a cog icon. Click on that, and click “New Folder”.

Or, just right-click in the page list on the left side of the window, and click “New Folder”.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • The folders will be reflected in the page URL, so name the folders nicely (all lowercase, brief, and hyphens-instead-of-spaces).
  • You will want to set up 301 redirects from the old page URL to new page (see Understanding .htaccess - for Humans | Caleb Grove).
  • The primary page in each folder should have it’s filename set to index.html.
