Hello all: I just started using Freeway Pro and Exhibeo. When I publish and try to preview in Firefox, Firefox reports a plugin is missing and can not find a suitable plugin. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Caleb: I created a slideshow in Exhibeo and used the export to Freeway Pro option to generate the file. I then went into my Freeway Pro file and used the Exhibeo Action, then imported the Exhibeo file into that action. I then went to publish and preview in Firefox. Firefox then shows the “missing plugin”. The Freeway website is being built on my mac. I then started thinking that the js files somehow were not loaded on the right folder. Everything seems to be being built in a folder named “resources”. I am coming from using Web Studio 5 on the PC side. The website I am re-building with Freeway is www.blackboxleather.com The slider there was built using wow slider (a js script) like Exhibeo. I have a site on line that I use to test changes. Maybe I need to upload live for it to work?
Insert the action button in INSERT>ACTION ITEM (and you should see the
ACTION EXHIBEO IMPORT.
Or Go to the Window(near Help) and select ACTIONS. (after you have created
the your webpage inside Freeway your IMPORT EXHIBEO Action.
Once you have selected the Exhibeo Output File, and added it into the
Action Import thumbnail on your wabpage and you want to upload it,do NOT
forget to change the UPLOAD to PASSIVE MODE(I think it is standard set to
AUTOMATICLY.
I had the same problem as yours, and I solved it this way.
Dave: Yes I was having problems previewing on my Mac. I was not sure if the js scripts were in the right place when previewing on the mac in firefox. I really appreciate everyone’s help and quick replies. Going from Web Studio on the PC over to the Mac is going to take a little time to get used to but I believe Freeway Pro will give better results. Once again thank you all very much.
I didn’t know it was a upload problem,as the upload just went through
normally, without any ERROR),but the final result on my webpage where
corrupted. So I just tried to change some settingsand finally found it.

If you had said that you were having an upload issue then we might have
brought this up.
The impression you gave was that you were having problems viewing on your
Mac. That setting is only for uploading.

This is worth reporting to SP if you appeared to have a no error upload yet some files were missing.
It may not be an Exhibeo problem though. Had you successfully uploaded this site with FW before. Servers vary and while Passive may work for you - it might not for others.
