Hi all, could do with a word of advice here.
I’m finishing a jazz band website for a client and he wants text links (could be graphics with text) to play MP3’s, but without a controller or leaving the page. Just click and play.
Any ideas, please?

You could do this with the Sound FX Action (note that there will be a lag between the click and the music start while the file loads) or you could make a tiny (like 1x1px) iframe on the same page, and set your links to target that iframe and load the music file there. There are numerous Flash-based players out there, but they will all fail on the iPad/Pod/Phone.
