[Pro] No “Link to new window” action to be found!

Using the latest version of Freeway Pro 6, but also when I open my 5.5 version, for neither one can I find the “Link to New Window” action and I am unable to find where to download it from the net.

Could someone send me a link to this action please?

TIA,

Robert

This Action is built into Freeway; it’s not available separately. All Actions are contextual – they only appear in their respective menus if you have currently selected something to which they can apply. So if you are using Text Link to New Window (the text form) you must have a text cursor blinking somewhere, and then you can choose Insert / Action Item / Text Link to New Window from the main menu. If you want to apply this Action to a graphic (thumbnail or image of a button) then you would first select that graphic (click once on the graphic box, so all of the handles on the corners and sides are showing) then choose Item / Actions / Link to New Window from the main menu. I just tested both of these on a fairly-virgin copy of Freeway 6, so I can assure you that these options are available.

Thank you Walter, it certainly works as you described! I was trying to do something else, which is why it would not cooperate. I was trying to make it a “page” action so that any link going to that particular page would then “open new window”. Dyslexia strikes again!

I’ll do it the way that I should now, thanks!
