[Pro] open box…

There is an action or a way to do something similar to the google maps information? i.e. when you click or mouse over a certain object or small icon opens a small box with information, that closes after the mouse go out?

Thank you for your help,

Do you mean not specifically on a map - but anywhere?

If the latter then you can use a Rollover in conjunction with Target Show/Hide layer

http://www.deltadesign.co/examples/text-rollover.html

For instructions see this thread http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/94928

But the Rollover can be on an image as well.

Yes David, anywhere.

Thank you for your reply. I’ll do that.

I also can use scriptylightbox2 but… it is possible insert a link to an internal or external page?

I’ve tried to save an image as html/image in PS but the scriptylightbox2 doesn’t recognize that format. So, no links!

Do you have any idea?

Thank you again for your help

ScriptyLightbox2 does not support HTML content, but ScriptyLightbox
does. The only hitch there is that the content must be an HTML
fragment, such as that created by PHP Make Insert Page or
TemplateHelper in “partial” mode. You cannot stuff a complete HTML
page into another HTML page without having odd/unfortunate things
happen.

I am not exactly sure what you are trying to achieve here. Can you be a bit more specific.

Well David, I am trying to make some bozes, or modal boxes or similar, but the problem is that I dont know how to insert the javascript on my page, cause I dont know nothing about that. I have found some infos about modal boxes but my brain is to small to understand that!

Being more specific:

I have a world map. Some of the countries have a kind of small graphic. My idea is, when someone click on that small graphic a box or a modal box open with the information that I have about that particular country with links to my pages about it. Just that.

Maybe easy for you, but hard for me to do it /(that’s why I am tyinking about the google map boxes).

Again, thank you so much for your replies

Then I refer you back to my other post about using Rollovers and Target Show/Hide layers.

Here is an example http://www.deltadesign.co/examples/map_over.html - roll over Norway, Sweden or Finland

This uses the Rollover action applied to empty graphic boxes which are positioned over the Country names (ensure that combine graphics is off)

These are used to trigger layered HTML items (Target Show/Hide layer action applied) that are set as initially hidden, appearing on Rollover or Onclick.

If you want an example FW 5.6 page just shout.
