Greetings.
I am beginning to open some of my 5.5 sites now in 5.6. Items are not showing up and little "x"s are shown in the site panel. I have both versions open side by side; Freeway 5.5 is fine, Freeway 6 is missing items.
Any ideas? Need help.

Have you checked the Resources under the Edit menu? You may need to relink the images.

Site Panel x’s usually mean the item has collapsed - it’s dimensions are no longer valid.
Freeway Pro 6 has a different and more sophisticated way of defining dimensions and positions. Be sure you understand the changes before opening/updating a pre-6 document. Likely, version 6 is interpreting the older file dimensions in an unhelpful way.
You may be able to select each item individually in the site panel and reset the dimensions to clear it up. But it helps if you understand the new measurements and dimensions options.
There was a ton of postings on this way back when people started updating to 6 - search the forum might be helpful too.

Hello to all.
Thank you for your assistance. Ernie, I think you are correct on the measurement option.
I am needing to publish the site in html 5 because of needing to run audio and video playlists that can be visible on iOS and Android in addition to browsers.
I played with the alignment settings on some of the items, changing it to align ‘left’ and this took care of the items. I was able to publish in html5 format.
Still can’t get the playlists working, but that is another matter. Thanks for your insight.

No problem Rich, I hope you get it sorted.
Sometimes it’s as simple as selecting the item, or it’s parent, then
changing a dimension will make it ‘reappear’. Often I can change the
dimension back to the original with no bad effect. I think of it as
‘nudging’ Freeway Pro to recognize the item.
