[Pro] Opening a FW site after its been uploaded

Is it possible to get FW to open a FW designed site that was downloaded via ftp from a web server? I have a site that I designed in FW Pro and is currently online. Changes need to be made but we cannot find the original files here at Headquarters…so I downloaded the whole site from the web server, but FW will not open it now. Any ideas? Thanks!

Freeway does not read, or even understand well, the HTML files it
generates. There is a “feature” called Import HTML, but it’s wildly
inaccurate in practice, and I don’t recommend you use it for this.

Be sure when you’re searching for the original file to also look for
the fwbackup file, which should also be saved in the parent folder
next to the original. While this file is mostly useful in the rare
case that the original document becomes too corrupted to open, it may
exist while the original .freeway document does not.

Do you have any Time Machine backups? Do you suspect that you deleted
the document, or is it merely filed somewhere inaccessible?
