This may be one for Softpress. Does anyone know how to reveal the password used when uploading? It shows as a number of black dots adjacent to the word ‘Password’ under the ‘Upload’ pane. It works just fine but I cannot trace what is actually typed there! Help!
Your FTP password would be available in your web hosting account login.

If you have a Freeway document, and you don’t know the password, you can upload following those settings in the document, but you cannot reverse out the actual password. It’s technically possible, I mean Freeway knows how to do it, but there’s no mechanism in the application’s public interface that allows you to do that. It’s not using the Keychain, I don’t think. If it did, you could extract it with the Keychain Access application on your Mac.
