[Pro] Perch questions?

I’ve successfully integrated Perch into one of my Freeway pro websites, but I have a few questions for other Perch users.

  1. How are you editing the Perch CSS files?
  2. How are you editing the Perch templates?
  3. For those of you who are also using FancyBox, how can you get image descriptions to display in your FancyBox image windows?
  4. And finally, how do you set FancyBox options in Freeway?

Thanks!

Are you asking what app to use to edit the files or where are they located?

Get yourself a decent programmers text editor. Text Wrangler is great and free but there are loads of others out there.

  1. Coda2
  2. Copy them into the main templates folder and edit using Coda2

Thanks guys. I’m using TextWrangler now, but it would be great to have something that’s more visual—kind of like Freeway Pro.

Does Coda2 offer this feature?

Coda is a programming editor, not a WYSIWYG tool. That said, there are some cool features that allow for immediate visual feedback depending on what you’re doing. Download the demo version from the Panic website and try it.
