[Pro] Picture tags/titles

When mousing over pictures on a website using a windowz browser, you see the title of the picture, which I understand is is important to people who use a reader!
Why doesn’t this happen in Safari?
I am using tags to add these titles but these titles do not show in Safari which is a shame, as unless you make a point of checking all the Alt Text’s on pictures you can often end up with an incorrect picture title.
Am I assuming too much or just doing it wrong?

Personally, I’m really happy that Safari doesn’t constantly show alt
text for images. It would really annoy me when browsing around
normally! After all, alt text is really meant for when images can’t
be seen for some reason.

Perhaps you could try a different browser when checking for those
things? Just a thought.

BTW, select an image and look at the third panel in the Inspector
palette, the Item Output Settings section. You can see what alt text
the item has set there - click on each graphic in turn. Another way
of achieving the same thing.

Finally, things that are purely visual decoration generally shouldn’t
have alt text. Worth remembering.
