[Pro] play music on all pages uninterrupted

Dave,

you are 100% right about this… I have gotten heavily distracted from finishing and I know why. Freeway is so much darn fun and such an amazing program. I have developed Hoffkids for 10 years and to find these new and fun things to “enhance” the site is much more exciting than getting the standard things done (even though I have been making great progress with your help).

Hope this explains why the non-core things have been such a draw.

I’ll continue to get the site all in, learn some new tricks, find some exciting new features and learn a lot to one day help others. Your help has been the reason it is going so well (even if you are an old fart)

HI,

Does anyone know why when I hit Upload (ihave 477 items), it seems to upload the .mps for the player even though I have already uploaded them previiously?

It seems for all other items it just checks and then uploads if needed, but it keeps getting slowed by the .mp3 because it seems to need to upload them more than once even though no changes were made.

thanks.

Barry

I’m having the same issue with galleries created with Showcase. I’m guessing but maybe it’s because they’re considered ‘external’ files so the files status can’t be verified in the incremental check??

I think for me, if I add a new song, it uploads most or all of the .mp3 again.
If I just make a change to the site (not .mp3 related), it does not have to upload the songs each time.

Watching it closely.

Going back to my original question, I have placed the pages within a frame and it works fine. To give the viewer an option to start the music when they first enter the site (just exploring ideas for the client) is possible to implement a pop-up window giving the viewer the option to start the music if they wish?

Cheers, Paul
