Drag and drop from the finder onto your FW page will create a playable media file.
If you want to do more than that then give us an idea of your plan.

Thanks for your quick reply
I want to add some controller for stop and play. Maybe autoplay
Is all that stuff available ? Maybe also use some FW Action
Thanks - Frank

You will automatically get a stop/play/pause controller.
If you do not want the mp3 to play on load then select the item on the FW page Item>Extended and under the Embed tab click New and then in Name: autoplay and for Value: false
OK the subsequent dialogues and then on page load you will need to press the Play button to listen.

Just as an addendum to this.
If you are dragging/dropping files onto your FW page from the finder it makes great housekeeping sense to do it from a copy of the file which is kept in the FW created Media folder.
Then if you subsequently move/change things you know exactly where the file came from to avoid a ‘Missing Resource’ error.

Yes it makes sense- I also like good housekeeping.
Besides - is there anyway I can choose an mp3 file from my server ?

If you wanted to have several files on your page then you might want to consider some sort of ‘Jukebox’ here is an example of one from Ephonic http://www.epplayer.com/ example at http://www.deltadesign.co/examples/ephonic.html
But this might be overkill for you - also this one is Flash based so not iOS friendly.

Something comparable to the Ephonic player is this one from Google. Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.

Yes but what would be useful is a good non-Flash player.
I have tried a few js ones but haven’t found a good one yet.
