You can get the panel to pop down (not sideways) using the FX Transition Action. But you’ll probably end up writing a custom JavaScript effect using the Scriptaculous 2 Action, Scriptaculous Effects, and a bunch of hand-code (or jQuery and a bunch of hand-code). There isn’t anything in Freeway that can make this effect for you without code.

The FX Transition is a good idea and an easy fix.
But it isnt 100% what i want, so I started coding…
