Draw the items you want to have appear as separate (layered) HTML
boxes[1], precisely where you want them to appear. Add your text and
other contents to these boxes. Basically design your page as you want
it to appear if someone managed to hover over all of the graphics at
once.
Next, apply the Target Show/Hide Layer Action to each of these layered
HTML boxes. Set them to Initially Hidden and Restore Yes. Give each
one a unique Target #, starting at the left with 1 and moving to the
right (just to keep your head straight about the IDs).
Finally, apply the Rollover Action to each of your graphic boxes. In
the Actions palette, switch from the Images tab to the Parameters tab,
and set the Mouseover picker to match the Target # you chose for each
of your layered HTML boxes.
Publish and test. It should do precisely what you want, or at least
get you into the realm where you can fiddle with settings until it
does do. There’s a wealth of options, distributed between the call
side (the Rollover Action) and the response side (the Target Show/Hide
Action) and you can usually get this to do pretty much anything you
like.

- Layered means that either they were drawn while the blue CSS Layout
button was on, or the Layer checkbox is ticked in the General Settings
tab of the Inspector when that item is selected in the design view.

Ok, to make it easy for everybody, hoping for some help:
Please have a look at this page: http://www.my-santana.com. The menu
line at the bottom is just individual graphic items. I would like a
popup box to appear over or under when hovering over the “Virtual
Tour”, with 3 links and with the same font. I’ve been looking
around, but can’t seem to find step by step instructions, or the
right alternative to do it. Can anybody give a helping hand, baring
in mind I’m quite an amateur? Thanks, Jon
