I’m trying to trigger a graphic next to a menu option that is a single play animated GIF. I’d like this to be triggered when the mouse either passes over the graphic or the menu item.
The Play/Pause Sequence action sound like a good candidate for this but I can’t find any reference material about how to use this action (and by trial and error, I’m not getting anywhere)
Thanks for getting back so quickly - I’ll give that one a go.
What I’m loking for is documentation (Knowledgebase or otherwise) for the play/pause sequence action or even what sort of sequence (how to build a sequence) that it’s looking for.
This Action couldn’t be simpler. Add a Sequence Timer to your page (to control a stack of Target Show/Hide Layers, for instance), then draw a graphic item to act as a play/pause button and apply the Play/Pause Sequence Timer Action to it. The Action palette has one option, Trigger Type that lets you specify whether to play and pause the sequence timer on click, or on rollover.
Hope this helps,
Joe
