I have done this type of thing before. Into an HTML box in Freeway Pro (latest version, btw), I enter a “Markup Item…” and into that I paste the code from the generator. Been there; done that.
That’s what I’m doing for the Twitter generator, but it isn’t producing the graphic.
Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong because I’m pushing the limits of my knowledge.
I had been testing this locally … in other words just opening a page from Freeway Pro in a browser. For me, it failed on Safari, Firefox and Chrome (all on Mac; hadn’t moved on to Windows yet).
But when I upload the page, voila!, it works. So apparently the page has to be uploaded for it to properly see the Twitter resources necessary to render the custom button.
Someone much more knowledgeable than I will have to explain why this is the case.
Again, many thanks for your help.
And, Todd, how well does Freeway Pro run on a Commodore 64?

My tests were done locally (not with FW) and it worked fine.
