[Pro] Problems with Show/Hide action

Hi!!

I’m trying to make a rollover navigation menu with Layer Show/Hide action.

I wish to show the first submenu on page load, so I set this layer as “Initially:Visible”. If I set for all the instances in the same chain to sticky option, the opened submenu is still showed even if I rollover to other menus.

See:

I don’t know if I am doing something wrong. Can someone help me?
Here is the project file:

P.D.:I found a workaround setting the first layer as hide in the action palette and extending the body with onload:“FWSlave(top.frames,‘Indigo’,1,1)”… It’s not too clean, but do the job!

Personally I think that you would get a far cleaner look with the CSS menu action.

There are lots of good reasons not to use graphic items like this in navigation - not good for screenreaders for 1 and 2 not SEO friendly.

Also please be careful to remove your upload information before posting a file like this online.

If I was not such a nice guy I could upload a whole bucketload of dodgy webpages to your site!

Change/remove the linked file. Now!

Ooooops!!
I thought I have erased the uploading info… Anyway, file removed and user and password changed! Although I’m sure your webpages would be better than mine… ;-p
Thanks for the tip!

In fact the web I’m working on is not based on images. All are text boxes which I have extended with an onmouseover event to work as rollover items.

But the problem -or question- I’m asking for is about the method to make the proposed menu without tricks.

Thank you, Dave!
