[Pro] Problems with text reflowing on smartphone

Hi

Need a bit of advice. I have created a website that behaves exactly as it should, except when viewed on a smartphone. It seems to be that the text is reflowing and overlapping text and images below it.

Is there a quick and easy fix for this as I did the site at ‘mates rates’ and don’t want to have to create a separate mobile site?

Any advice would be really helpful.

Cheers.

Shaun

Unfortunately this is not just a mobile issue - this is an issue for anyone that views the site with a larger text size than normal.

You can see it yourself in Safari if you go to the View Menu and enable Zoom text Only. Now use Cmd+ a couple of times to bump up the text size.

To solve the problem on all viewing platforms rebuild the page using an inline construction method.

On this site that wouldn’t tae that long as the only affected parts are those from the Red Page Descriptor Band down.

If you dont want to do that then you could build in some ‘wriggle room’ or for mobile add the style ‘text-size-adjust’ - here is an article on it - text-size-adjust - CSS: Cascading Style Sheets | MDN
