Hi,
Anyone have success with Pulse cms ? Damned if I can get anything to appear.
Thought it would be a simple answer for those clients wishing basic update of a few items, not if I can’t get it to work.
Pulse’s own website is sadly scant on info.
Other free alternatives would also be interesting to hear about.

Pulse is dead easy to integrate into FW
It is as simple as Insert>Markup and copy/pasting some PHP which is provided when you create a new ‘block’
And of course making sure your pages end ,php

Excellent ! that works - the simplest thing tripping me up yet again.
Still a lot to check out with Pulse but it does (once you get it working) seem a good easy way of doing things. I’m sure WebYep (ao) is better and more adaptable but sometimes there’s no need for overkill.

I’m keen to read a bit more on how to set up pulse in freeway. Where can I read up a bit more? The Pulse end of things seems straightforward enough but its how to set things up in Freeway that I haven’t come across much detail.
Is it much the same as Webyep?

Just to repeat my earlier post on this
Pulse is dead easy to integrate into FW
It is as simple as Insert>Markup and copy/pasting some PHP which is provided when you create a new ‘block’
And of course making sure your pages end .php
Remember that all your content in these Pulse blocks is created online - nothing to do with FW. All you need in the FW doc is the Markup items that contain the PHP code that Pulse provides.
For unknown quantities of text to be accommodated in FW you are best to use a box model layout.
