I am looking to add Pulse CMS to an existing site. In the past, I have allowed Pulse to “take over” the text formatting. But I would like more control of the text styles this time around. Can anyone give me some advise how to proceed?

Pulse Tags its items reasonably specifically plus you can target your FW created styles to affect the Html containers where the Pulse content is displayed on your pages.
Post a link to an example of some Pulse content you wish to style (and how you want to style it) and one of us can help with a more specific answer.
