[Pro] Quit Kiosk Mode in Windows IE w/no keyboard

Hi,

I have to build a relatively simple touch-screen interface that will be run locally on a Windows machine running IE7 in kiosk mode with no keyboard attached. They’ve asked me to build in a secret button that will be the equivalent of hitting an ALT/F4 combo if there were a keyboard. According to Microsoft, this will terminate the IE7 browser.

Anyone have any idea how I go about this?

Thanks,
Bob

Bump. Anyone? Job is coming up on being finished and I need this badly?

Help!

I could be wrong on this but I’m pretty sure you can’t invoke a
keystroke from JavaScript, particularly one that could potentially
quit the application. You may be better off asking on a dedicated
JavaScript or Microsoft forum/support though.
