At the advice on many of this forum, I’ve been using this website to reduce my PNG files. Today, I actually read the copy on their website and realized that it appears that TinyPNG is doing nothing more than reducing a 24-bit PNG to an 8-bit PNG.
If that’s the case, why can’t I do this directly from within Photoshop CC using their Save for Web export?
You can, and the results may be even nicer than the service provides.
